Welcome to the new and very improved website of Henry Bowers aka Kung Henry!

Here you will be able to look into the world of Henry Bowers in a much bigger way than ever before. This will be a much more alive website than the last one with continuous updates and news.

We have added a lot of new photos, videos and lyrics to a lot of songs (more coming).

To celebrate the new website the following releases are now also available for FREE downloading and streaming: Escape From Juniper Hills, Rappin’ For Food, Master Mind, Pappa förtärde inferno, Sophelikoptern, Klockspel and Poeter blir dom…

We also give you the first of a long line of web exclusive releases, “Jag sköt barberaren”, which is a very free interpretation of Dr. Alimantado’s “I Killed The Barber”, on the Ali Baba riddim. This song has been a part of our live set for a long time, but hasn’t been released until now.

Henry Bower’s new album “Escape From Juniper Hills” is out now, on both CD and double vinyl! The release party at Orange in Uppsala was a blast, and now you can order the album directly from us here at henrybowers.com, check out our shop when you feel like consuming. You can also order the record from cdon.com and ginza.se, as well as ordering it to your local record store.

The album has beats by people like Filthy, DJ Large, Kryptonite etc, and DJ Lo-kut is the executive producer.
The album is released by Kafkaotiska Inspelningar, and distributed by NLP records.

Some info about a couple of performances, maybe a bit late, but better late than never…

A couple of new gigs are up, at the Peace and Love festival and Nakkefestivalen in Denmark.

Some sizes of the tee-shirts have run out of stock. We don’t have any black sleeve shirts in sizes S, M and L left. And only a couple in XL and XXL of black sleeves.

The red sleeve ones are still avaliable in all sizes, as well as all the hoodies.

We’re going to have a couple gig in Copenhagen at the 1st of May, and the days around that.

A couple of new gigs are up, Kulturnatten in Uppsala and European Social Forum In Malmlö.

Henry Bowers fyller 28! Det firas med en gratis spelning på Hijazz i Uppsala. Hijazz ligger i centralstationshuset i Uppsala.

Lasse Fabel och Confidence Soulful kommer också förbi och spelar några låtar, och Follow Him To The End of The Desert kommer även han synas på scen.

Framträdandena börjar vid 21.30 och kommer vara över 23.00, efter det fortsätter firandet.

Alla är varmt välkomna och bjud gärna in era vänner, ju fler desto roligare!

The 6th of June, we will be releasing the new Henry Bowers single/ep “Rappin’ For Food”. The release party will be held at Hijazz in Uppsala (Hijazz is located in the central station building, very easy to find from the bus/train).

For people from Stockholm: The last Swebus express bus from Uppsala departs at 01.00 sharp, and we will make sure that the live performance is finished bu then.

The single is a cooperation between Henry Bowers and DJ Large, and consists of three songs, exclusively available in this release.
