Tomorrow, 9th nov, DJ Lo-kut’s gonna be on Studentradion Uppsala’s show Funk U and talk about and play his music. It’s on at 17.00, and for those who don’t live in Uppsala, you can stream it live or afterwards here.

Shortly after his participation on the Basementality Battles (from which there soon will be a video up), Henry’s going to yet another battle. This time it’s the famous O-Zone Battles in Lund, where he’ll go against O-Hund.

When Henry Bowers & DJ Lo-kut together with Osten af Mozzarella & DJ Starke Arvid went to Estonia and the Eesti Hip-hop Festival this summer we recorded this cypher with the Russian speaking Estonian hip-hop band Gorõ Lana (Gorq Lana/Горы Лана) who consist of MC’s Boom, Magnum P.I. and Mf Lef that are seen in this cypher but MoiCirk and DJ Lauri Täht are also a part of the band.

Henry Bowers & DJ Lo-kut are going to perform at the Uppsala International Poetry Festival Ordsprak, and we’re playing just before this year’s most sensational booking, Sage Francis! Still, there are a whole bunch of really cool other poets and artists performing too, like Kat Francois from the UK, Ewok from South Africa, Oskar Hanska, our good friend Saman Faramarxi (aka Saman tha Fox),  Bohdan Piaseck from Poland and lots more!

The festival takes place at the 1st – 2nd of October at Reginatetern in Uppsala.

On Thursday September 30 Henry Bowers will perform his poetry at the Absolute [young] Poetry festival in Monfalcone near Venice, Italy.
